Most recently, Kelly worked as a public conservator for nearly 10 years. During that time, she gained experience in filing property management plans, annual accountings, tax returns and other court required documents. She also worked closely with many government agencies, including the department of human services, the department of mental health and with state district attorneys.

Kelly has extensive experience with the court system and has worked with the chancery, probate and circuit courts in 19 different counties, including three metropolitan areas. During that period, Kelly made the time to take a personal interest in her clients' lives. She used all available resources to meet individual clients' needs, such as coordinating efforts between hospitals, home health agencies and local providers. She also worked with physicians and family members to ensure that all health care decisions involving her client were known.
